Job Duties:

 The individual will work with Optics R&G group in automating and programming custom designed manufacturing equipment such as wafer measure tools, part visual inspection systems and etc. His/her main responsibility is to provide and meet immediate equipment programming needs for Optics R&D utilizing programming languages like C#, VB.net, PLC and LabView. He/she will also provide the IT department support for developing and maintaining legacy software and designing new database systems.     

Skills Required:

  • Must be very experienced and knowledgeable about PLCs, motion controls, and robotics.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member on projects.
  • Must have strong back ground in the following:
    • At least 3 years of experience with VB6, VB.net and C# programming languages
    • Experience with various Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
    • At least 3 years of experience with LabView is required
    • Experience setting up SQL Server and MySQL databases
    • Setting up HMI, GUI interfaces
  • Provides hands-on assistance to Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians with trouble shooting instrumentation problems including system calibration.
  • Wiring and testing of control panels.
  • Experience with Solidworks and Auto CAD is a plus

Experience with Vision Systems Programming with either Matrox or Cognex is a plus
